Tax Bills
INTERIM BILLS
- Issued in January, with installments due in February and May.
FINAL BILLS
- Issued in June, with installments due in August and November.
Tax Bill Payment
To avoid late penalty and interest, regardless of your preferred payment method, payments must be received on or before the end of business day on the installment due dates appearing on your Tax Bill.
Tax payments may be made by any of the following methods:
Financial Institutions
- Telephone or On-line Banking - Setup "Town of Grand Valley" as your Payee with the full 19 digit roll number as your account number (no spaces or punctuation).
- At Your Bank You can go to the bank and pay at the Counter. Bring your property tax bill with the 19 digit roll number on it. Any related banking fees are the responsibility of the taxpayer.
To avoid late penalties and interest please pay well before the due date, as bank processing of payments vary.
Pre-Authorized Tax Payment Plans
- Enroll in one of the Town's Pre-Authorized Tax Payment (PAP) Plans.
Municipal Office - Town Hall
5 Main Street North, Grand Valley
8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. - Monday to Friday
- In-person Bring your Tax Bill and payment. Payments are accepted by cheque, cash, debit, MasterCard and VISA.
- Drop Box located at Town Hall for after-hours cheque payments. Please do not leave cash payments in the drop box. Payments received after regular business hours are processed on the next regular business day.
- Phone call the Municipal Office at (519) 928-5652 extension 221 during regular business hours. We can accept VISA and Mastercard payments over the phone, and we will email you a receipt.
- Mail (current or postdated cheque before the due date) with the payment stub(s). If you require a receipt, please enclose a self-addressed, stamped envelope.
