VIDEO TWEEN DANCE
Friday September 20th from 7-9pm at the Grand Valley District Community Centre. All tweens grades 5-8 are invited to join us for a video dance! Tickets are only $2.00 each! Tickets will be sold online at https://grandvalleyfallfair.ca/ Follow the link and create an account to get your tickets. We may have cash only tickets at the door if available. The dance will be fully chaperoned and there will be a cash snack bar available.
The Museum of Dufferin (MoD) Archives is looking to collect digital scans of community photographs to include in an upcoming exhibition on children and play. Community members will leave with their original photograph, leaving only a digitized copy with the MoD Archival collection.
MoD is looking to collect photographs of ‘children at play,’ both historic and modern. They want to see the moments you have captured of kids being kids. This could include playing with toys, friends and family, sports, on playgrounds, and more.
Different books, different times, come to one or come to both! No registration!
Day Time addition first Tuesday of the month 1:00-2:30pm
Evening addition first Wednesday of the month 6:30-8:00pm
GVPL will be ordering 15 copies of the selected books and it is first come, first serve for a copy. You must have a library card to receive a book (but that is super easy to get and FREE if you don't already have one!)
