The Town of Grand Valley is seeking a Recreation Programmer and Facility Operator.

Closure: Monday, October 5 at 8:00 a.m. to Friday, October 9 at 6:00 p.m.

Grand Valley Sideroad 27/28 will be temporarily closed at the jog of Concession 8/9 East and Concession 8/9 West to accommodate road work.

During the closure:

• Properties on Sideroad 27/28 south of the closure can be accessed from Concession 6/7.
• Properties north of the closure can be accessed from County Road 25 and Concession 8/9.

The closure will be posted on Municipal 511, and affected school bus operators will be notified.

Please plan your route accordingly and allow for additional travel time.

NOTICE OF PROVISIONAL DECISION WITH REASONS

TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Town of Grand Valley passed By-law 2026-49 on September 8, 2026, under section 34 of the Planning Act, 1990, c.P. 13, as amended, 

PURPOSE & EFFECT OF BY-LAW
The purpose and effect of By-law 2026-49, is to rezone the severed portions from 173399 County Road 25 (Roll 108600) to a Rural Residential Exception Fifteen (RR-15) for the north parcel and a Rural Residential (RR) Zone for the south parcel to facilitate a Lot Line Adjustment (Consent File B02-2026).
