DUFFERIN COUNTY FIRE DEPARTMENTS TOTAL FIRE BAN DECLARED - JULY 15, 2026
The Total Fire Ban commenced July 15th at 8:30am until further notice. These are dangerous fire conditions and fire may spread quickly and be extremely hazardous. All burning permits are suspended, and all open fires are prohibited.
The county-wide ban includes bon fires, recreational fires, construction burns, and any other type of outdoor fire. Only "approved" gas-fired and charcoal barbecues are exempt. Violation of the fire ban could lead to charges and fines.

    Children ages 3-6 years old join us for a story, songs and play and a small take away craft!
