Notice of Public Meeting Proposed Official Plan and Zoning By-law Amendment
Take Notice that the Council of the Town of Grand Valley will hold a public meeting on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, to consider an Official Plan Amendment and related Zoning By-law Amendment under Sections 17, 26 and 34 of the Planning Act.
Reduced Load Restrictions are in effect as of Monday, March 10, 2025
The reduced load restriction period typically occurs between March 1 and May 15th dependent on weather and road conditions.
Further notice will be posted once restrictions are lifted.
TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Town of Grand Valley passed By-law 2024-52 on December 10, 2024, under section 34 of the Planning Act, 1990, c.P. 13, as amended
PURPOSE & EFFECT OF BY-LAW
The purpose and effect of By-law 2024-52, is to to rezone a portion of the subject lands to a Rural Residential Exception Thirty-seven (RR-37) Zone, to facilitate Consent Application for a Lot Line boundary adjustment.
SUBJECT LANDS
The property affected by this amendment is located at 402287 County Road 15 Roll #207300, as shown on the key map attached.
TAKE NOTICE THAT the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Grand Valley is considering a request to Declare a portion of land as surplus and convey those lands to the abutting landowner who owns Part pf Lot 24, Concession 7, Geographic Township of East Luther, with a municipal address of 321339 Concession Road 6-7, Roll #122600, Grand Valley, Ontario.
The purpose and effect of the amendment is to decrease the required front yard setback.
TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Town of Grand Valley passed By-law 2024-46 on November 12, 2024, under section 34 of the Planning Act, 1990, c.P. 13, as amended,
PURPOSE & EFFECT OF BY-LAW
The purpose and effect of By-law 2024-46, is to rezone the subject property to permit reduced interior side yard and rear yard setbacks to accommodate existing accessory buildings and structures.
SUBJECT LANDS
The property affected by this amendment is located at 25 McIntyre Lane (Roll #110879), as shown on the key map.
