Notice of Decision Zoning By-Law - 241162 Concession Road 2-3 (BEAM) Z01-2026

TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Town of Grand Valley passed By-law Number 2026-36 on June 9, 2026, under section 34 of the Planning Act, 1990, c.P. 13, as amended,

An explanation of the purpose and effect of the by-law as well as a key map of the lands are included with this Notice. For more information regarding the zoning amendment, contact the Manager of Planning, Mark H. Kluge at 519-928-5652 extension 225, email at mkluge@townofgrandvalley.ca or in person at Grand Valley Town Hall. (8:30 AM to 4:30 PM Monday to Friday)

Only the applicant, specified persons and public bodies as defined in the Planning Act, and registered owners of lands to which the bylaw will apply and who made oral submissions at the public meeting or who have made written submissions to the Town before the bylaw is passed, will be able to appeal the decision of the Town of Grand Valley to the Ontario Land Tribunal.

TAKE NOTICE that an appeal to the Ontario Land Tribunal in respect to all or part of this Zoning By-law may be made by filing a notice of appeal with the Town Clerk either via the Ontario Land Tribunal e-file service (first-time users will need to register for a My Ontario Account) at https://olt.gov.on.ca/e-file-service by selecting Grand Valley (Town) as the Approval Authority, or by mail to Town of Grand Valley, 5 Main Street North, Grand Valley, no later than 4:30 PM on July 7, 2026. The filing of an appeal after 4:30 PM, in person or electronically, will be deemed to have been received the next business day. The appeal fee of $1,100 can be paid online through e-file or by credit card/certified cheque/money order to the Minister of Finance, Province of Ontario. If you wish to appeal to the Ontario Land Tribunal (OLT) or request a fee reduction for an appeal, forms are available from the OLT website at www.olt.gov.on.ca. If the e-file portal is down, you can submit your appeal to mail@townofgrandvalley.ca.

PURPOSE & EFFECT OF BY-LAW NUMBER 2026-36

The purpose and effect of By-law Number 2026-36, is to rezone the severed portion (File B01-2026) from 241162 Concession Raod 2-3 (Roll 104300) to 033208 Sideroad 21-22 (Roll #104250) from an Agricultural (A) Zone to a Rural Residential (RR) Zone to faciltate a Lot Line Adjustment (Consent B01-2026).
