TAKE NOTICE that pursuant to Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, as amended, the Council of the Town of Grand Valley passed By-law 2026-45 on July 21, 2026, being a By-law to amend Zoning By-law No. 2009-10, as amended.

THE PURPOSE AND EFFECT OF THE AMENDMENT
The purpose and effect of By-law 2026-45 is to implement the policies of the Town of Grand Valley Official Plan, the Dufferin County Official Plan, and to provide new and updated zoning and development standards that reflect policy and regulatory initiatives at the provincial and local level. The Zoning By-law is the Town’s primary tool to regulate the use of land in the Town.

Commencing Monday, July 27th, contractors will be completing culvert replacement work on Sideroad 21/22.

A meeting will be held on Tuesday July 21, 2026 at 10:00 AM in Council Chambers, Town of Grand Valley Municipal Office, 5 Main Street North, Grand Valley, L9W 5S6, to consider the removal of the Holding (H) symbol from By-law 2009-10, as amended, in accordance with the Planning Act R.S.O. 1990, to permit the development of a 49 lot Residential Subdivision, know as Thomasfield Phase 3B-2, see Location Map.

NOTICE OF PROVISIONAL DECISION WITH REASONS

APPLICATION NUMBER: B01-2026

TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Town of Grand Valley passed By-law Number 2026-36 on June 9, 2026, under section 34 of the Planning Act, 1990, c.P. 13, as amended,

PURPOSE & EFFECT OF BY-LAW NUMBER 2026-36
The purpose and effect of By-law Number 2026-36, is to rezone the severed portion (File B01-2026) from 241162 Concession Raod 2-3 (Roll 104300) to 033208 Sideroad 21-22 (Roll #104250) from an Agricultural (A) Zone to a Rural Residential (RR) Zone to faciltate a Lot Line Adjustment (Consent B01-2026).

Commencing on Monday, June 8th contractors will begin sidewalk replacement work on King Street with an anticipated completion date of June 17, 2026.
