DUFFERIN COUNTY FIRE BAN DECLARED
Effective Immediately, a Dufferin County burn ban is in effect this includes the Town of Grand Valley. All burning permits are suspended and all outdoor burning, including bon fires, recreational fires, construction burns, and any other types of outdoor fires are prohibited. Violations of the burn ban can result in charges under the Provincial Offences Act and responsibility for fire service response costs.

TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Town of Grand Valley passed By-law 2024-46 on November 12, 2024, under section 34 of the Planning Act, 1990, c.P. 13, as amended,
PURPOSE & EFFECT OF BY-LAW
The purpose and effect of By-law 2024-46, is to rezone the subject property to permit reduced interior side yard and rear yard setbacks to accommodate existing accessory buildings and structures.
SUBJECT LANDS
The property affected by this amendment is located at 25 McIntyre Lane (Roll #110879), as shown on the key map.

On Friday, November 15th at 10:30 a.m., Dufferin-Caledon MPP, Sylvia Jones, will be at the Grand Valley & District Community Centre to celebrate the Town of Grand Valley’s receipt of an Ontario government grant funded through the Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) to build a multi-purpose Outdoor Recreation Facility in the Town of Grand Valley.
MPP Jones and an OTF volunteer will attend the event to acknowledge the government grant and its impact on the community.
Mayor Steven Soloman will discuss the importance of the grant for the organization and the work being done.
Mayor Steve Soloman, on behalf of Council, proclaims and declares that November 25th, 2024, shall be known as “The International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women” in the Town of Grand Valley and urges all citizens to recognize this day by taking action to support survivors and becoming part of Ontario wide efforts to end gender-based violence.
