Roads Construction Projects

The Town of Grand Valley conducts various construction projects on our roads each year in order to maintain our transportation network. Below, we list the projects that will be taking place each season.

On December 9, 2026 Grand Valley Council approved the the following 2026 Road projects: 

  • Mill Street W. from Leeson Street S to Emma Street S road resurfacing and catchbasins
  • Leeson Street South from Mill Street W to William Street road resurfacing and catchbasins
  • Leeson Street South from Mill W to N of Feed Mill road resurfacing and catchbasins
  • Leeson Street South complete sidewalk replacement from Mill Steet W to William Street

Micro surfacing along Water, Main, Mount Haven Crescent and Deaken Drive.

  • Bridge 10 Replacement
  • Traffic Calming on Leeson Street  

Other projects may be underway in our community that are not listed here. These projects may be related to development work that the developers are conducting or work that the County of Dufferin is conducting on their road network.
