Notice of Passing Town of Grand Valley Zoning By-Law Update By-Law 2026-45
TAKE NOTICE that pursuant to Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, as amended, the Council of the Town of Grand Valley passed By-law 2026-45 on July 21, 2026, being a By-law to amend Zoning By-law No. 2009-10, as amended.
THE PURPOSE AND EFFECT OF THE AMENDMENT
The purpose and effect of By-law 2026-45 is to implement the policies of the Town of Grand Valley Official Plan, the Dufferin County Official Plan, and to provide new and updated zoning and development standards that reflect policy and regulatory initiatives at the provincial and local level. The Zoning By-law is the Town’s primary tool to regulate the use of land in the Town.

TAKE NOTICE that an appeal to the Ontario Land Tribunal in respect to all or part of this Zoning By-law may be made by filing a notice of appeal with the Town Clerk either via the Ontario Land Tribunal e-file service (first-time users will need to register for a My Ontario Account) at https://olt.gov.on.ca/e-file-service by selecting Grand Valley (Town) as the Approval Authority, or by mail to Town of Grand Valley, 5 Main Street North, Grand Valley, no later than 4: 30 PM on Thursday, August 20, 2026. The filing of an appeal after 4:30 PM, in person or electronically, will be deemed to have been received the next business day. The appeal fee of $1,100 can be paid online through e-file or by credit card/certified cheque/money order to the Minister of Finance, Province of Ontario. If you wish to appeal to the Ontario Land Tribunal (OLT) or request a fee reduction for an appeal, forms are available from the OLT website at www.olt.gov.on.ca. If the e-file portal is down, you can submit your appeal to mail@townofgrandvalley.ca.
