Tax Bills

• Interim bills are issued in January, with payments due in February and May.
• Final bills are issued in July, with payments due in August and November.

Tax Bill Payment

Tax payments may be made by any of the following methods:

• Internet Banking is available for your convenience through most Bank websites. Setup "Town of Grand Valley" as your Payee with the full 19 digit roll number as your account number (no spaces or punctuation). Please allow two (2) business days for the office to receive your payment.
• At all Chartered Banks through your mortgage, personal teller service, telephone or internet banking. Please note that any related banking fees are the responsibility of the taxpayer.
• In person at the Town of Grand Valley Municipal Office at 5 Main St. N. Grand Valley, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday. Payments are accepted by cheque (current or postdated), cash (exact cash) and debit. A drop box is located at this office for after-hours cheque payments. Please do not leave cash payments in the drop box.
• By mailing a cheque (current or post-dated before the due date) with the payment stub(s). If you require a receipt, please enclose a self-addressed, stamped envelope.
• Pay automatically by enrolling in one of the Town's convenient Pre-Authorized Payment (PAP) Plans.
• Credit Cards as of March 1, 2026, the Town of Grand Valley no longer accepts direct credit card payments for property taxes. You can pay with your credit card through PaySimply™, a third-party service provider. PaySimply.ca is a secure, third-party Canadian payment provider. The service provider may charge service fees and there may be restrictions on the types of credit cards accepted. PaySimply retains all service fees; the Town does not retain any portion of the fee. The Town only receives the billed tax amount and is not responsible for the service charges set by PaySimply.
