Fall/Winter Programs 2021

Baby & Toddler Time -Ages 0-36 months, Fridays 10:00am -10:45am Starting September 10, 2021

Sing along to songs, follow along with a story reading, poems, themes, fingerplays and rhymes for you to say along to your child. This interactive program is designed with the repetitive play concept in mind. This is a wonderful opportunity for parents/caregivers to make new connections in the community.

Story Time -Ages 3-5 years, Fridays 11:00-11:45am Starting September 10, 2021

Follow along with us as we read a storybook; directed towards children ages 3-5.  It is also a great way to start early literacy learning by hearing words, letter sounds, and pronunciation. This program is designed to promote the love of books and reading. A small take away craft each day helps to develop the child's fine motor skill and we will do a little take away craft for little ones to work on fine motor skills and be creative.

Community Storytime Reads.

Listen along as a prominent Grand Valley Community Member or Business Owner personally reads a story aloud to you. Developed for children ages 0-5 in mind, but can be enjoyed by adults and older siblings as well! Learn about the people who work in our community everyday, and familiarize yourself with them by putting a face to their name. Follow along as we lead you throughout the community of Grand Valley. Everyone loves a good story and we hope we can strengthen and unite our community with this timeless tradition of bringing people together even while we 'socially distance' during a world-wide pandemic.
