Notice of Public Meeting

On Tuesday, April 13, 2021, the Council of the Town of Grand Valley will hold a public meeting, pursuant to section 12 of the Development Charges Act, 1997, as amended, to present and obtain public input on proposed Updates and Amendments to their Development Charges (D.C.) By-law and underlying update study.

All interested parties are invited to attend the Public Meeting of Council through electronic participation, and any person who attends the meeting may make representations relating to the proposed D.C. By-law and update study.  The meeting is to be held:

In order that sufficient information is made available to the public, the update study is being made available on March 11, 2021 on the municipality’s website at https://www.townofgrandvalley.ca/en/doing-business/planning-and-development-resource-documents.aspx - Development Charges.  Copies of the proposed D.C. By-law and the update study are also being made available as of March 11, 2021 from the municipal Clerk at the above location (519-928-5652).

Persons interested in viewing the meeting must contact the Town Office to receive login credentials. Interested persons may express their comments at the public meeting by notifying the municipal Clerk of their desire to speak by April 13, 2021 at 4:00 p.m., or may submit comments in writing, addressed to the municipal Clerk, at the above address prior to April 9, 2021. Written submissions will be placed before Council for the meeting.
