A message from the Mayor
The Corporation of the Town of Grand Valley is the result of an amalgamation effective January 1, 1995 of the former Township of East Luther, a rural farming area and the former Village of Grand Valley, an urban area, and in September 2012 a name change was made to the Town of Grand Valley. The Town is truly nature’s playground with the Luther Marsh and its wild life. The marsh covers 13,000 acres with a 3500 acre lake within it. The Grand River recently designated as a Heritage River flows from the northern to the southern boundary providing a picturesque setting as it meanders through the idyllic pastoral countryside and the lovely urban centre.
The Town Hall is more than just a building. We are a group of people, Council and Staff, here to work with you and for you. We are here to manage the resources of the Town and make Grand Valley a great place to live and do business as well as enjoy life.
